Purchasing Manager
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management (or extensive experience in the residential homebuilding industry) or related degree is required. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the contracting of trade partners for labor and material items related to homebuilding operations. In this capacity, the individual will work with local trade partners, national/regional suppliers, and distributors to continuously find opportunities for negotiating cost savings for their trade categories. This role will partner with Operations to ensure proper trade partners are bid, negotiated, and awarded. This role will also serve as a resource of the National Purchasing team, supporting company cost savings initiatives.
Interior Designer
A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Interior Architecture or related degree is required. Candidates need to have achieved a professional degree from an NCIDQ or NAAB accredited program and have worked on commercial interiors projects for at least 5 years. Candidates also must have project experience and proficiency in Revit.
Architect
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Interior Architecture or related degrees. The Architect will respond to internal and external client needs, engage in planning, programming, design, and report development and project scheduling for design projects; prepare Revit modeling, and assist in the development of deliverables; and coordinate and communicate related documents; conduct third party reviews of architectural designs, including space planning, project coordination, design development, construction documents, and report documentation and development and other duties as may be assigned. Working knowledge or certification with Chief Architect is a plus.
Urban Designer
As the Urban Designer, you will be responsible for: Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) like AutoCAD, SketchUp and Chief Architect to produce architectural plans, detailed drawings, site plans and 3D models. Engage in the architectural design team to complement concept and space design. Understanding the Urban Design ideas in local jurisdiction’s Zoning Code and future master zoning plan to comply with current zoning rules and predict future zoning changes, thus designing the Site Plan and Grading Plan. Coordinate structural design and know building methods in order to draw construction details to help field works. Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements to visualize building environment, help determine building location, and ensure projects follow local zoning requirements. Represent architect on construction site to correct or give advice on builder’s working outcome, under architect’s supervision.
A Bachelor of Architecture or related degree is required. Construction field experience, i.e., frame walks and construction document compliance. Strong graphics capabilities with the ability to articulate ideas by way of freehand sketching. Strong organizational skills, including planning, scheduling, and follow up capabilities.
Project Manager
Lead Construction Managers and Assistant Construction Managers, Site inspections, Quality control inspections, Scheduling, Payment processing, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and directives, Plan review, cost analysis, and value engineering, Contractor and subcontractor pre-qualifications
Bidding, scoping, and buy-out of development and construction costs, Job cost and status reporting
Land development, entitlements, and permitting, Development of site and building design documents. A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related degree is required. 3-month experience in conducting project site surveys, construction site project management and daily end of day reporting.
Project Engineer
Prepare plans and specification in accordance with building (IRC and IBC) and engineering (Virginia DEQ, VDOT etc) standards. Analyze and monitor project budget and schedule, report regularly on project status with strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet project and client's deadlines. Assist in developing residential buildings structure with SketchUp or Chief Architect software, and use such tool during construction on-site supervision. Analyze structural models and structural loads. Detail structure drawing using AutoCAD. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, PE, or related degree is required.

Environmental Engineer
Job Location: Sterling, VA
Job Duties:

Apply for building & land disturbance permit, sets up pre-construction meetings with site inspector, and schedules inspections with Fairfax County, VA & Montgomery County, MD;

Conduct Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Inspection per National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program of Maryland Department of Environment (MDE) and Department of Environment Quality (DEQ, VA), to record site work activities status;

Prepare documents such as stormwater maintenance agreement to record, inspection report, nutrient credit letter to control a total load of nitrogen, phosphorus, etc.;

Check the stormwater facilities design complied with stormwater design specification of DEQ and MDE;
-
Search and identify certified construction material to order, like biofilter sand for rain garden;
-
Monitor hydrologic data like precipitation at project sites, and adjust schedules with subcontractors in time;

Use AutoCAD and HydroCAD application.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

Knowledge of Hydrologic Modeling and Hydrologic Engineering

Skills in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, and RStudio.
